• Asian Taekwando Championship, 48 International countries participated in the championship, held in April 2002. Event held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hassan Bin Talal.

• Amman Arab Surgical Conference, Jordanian, Syrian, Lebanese, Iraqi Surgical Conference, the Sixth Mediterranean Club Endoscopic Surgery (CMCE) and the 29th Conference of the Jordanian Surgical Society jointly held on April 24-27, 2002. Even held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

• ECVVU, World Bank Sub Meetings, held on August 11-14, 2002. Event held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Khaled Toukan.

• The International Islamic Bank Development Forum Conference, held on August 29 – September 2, 2002 at Grand Hyatt Amman Hotel.

• The 2nd Amman International Taekwondo Championship, held on September 6- 10, 2002.

• Barter Card Anniversary held on September 21, 2002 at the citadel.

• ICT Forum (Information and Communication Technology), held on September 30
  – October 1, 2002 at the Grand Hyatt Amman. Event held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II

• Mediterranean Development Forum Conference (MDF4) organized with theWorld Bank on October 6-10, 2002 at the Hotel InterContinental Jordan. Event heldunder the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen RaniaAl Abdullah.

• The 3rd Middle East Karate Championship held on October 17–20, 2002.

• The 6th Jordanian International Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, held on October 22-25, 2002.

• The Third International Congress of the Arab Ophthalmic Association and the Sixth Jordanian Ophthalmological Conference jointly held on October 31
  – November 2, 2002. Event held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
